Through a combination of pre-ordering the expansion and normal new song purchases, Harmonix has a bevy of new tracks arriving on Rock Band 4 this month.
Rock Band Rivals is nearing launch, and Harmonix is gearing up with a new push on the Rock Band 4 platform. 18 new songs are on the docket for devoted fans in October, but they’ll be arriving in your library through a variety of methods.
As we reported back in July, pre-ordering the new Rivals expansion will come with 10 new songs that launch on October 18, whether you buy the the Band Kit ($199.99), the Wireless Jaguar Bundle ($89.99), or the Rock Band Rivals Launch Pack ($15.99). Alternately, if you’re not interested in the expansion, each of these new songs will be available for $1.99 per song on that same date.
• Bring Me The Horizon –“Happy Song”
• Capital Cities –“Safe and Sound”
• Eagle-Eye Cherry –“Save Tonight”
• The Neighbourhood –“Sweater Weather”
• Of Monsters And Men –“Little Talks”
• Pharrell Williams –“Happy“
• Semisonic –“Closing Time”
• Sia –“Chandelier”
• Skillet –“Feel Invincible”
• Weezer –“King of the World”
In addition, if you choose to pre-order Rivals through Amazon, you’ll also gain access to:
• Maroon 5 – “One More Night”
• Matchbox Twenty – “3am”
Outside of any direct connection to Rivals, Rock Band 4 players can snag two new songs starting tomorrow, for $1.99 apiece.
• Harvey Danger – “Flagpole Sitta”
• Jane’s Addiction – “Stop”
Later this month, four additional tracks will also join the regular library for purchase, including:
• Andy Grammer – “Honey, I’m Good.”
• The Chainsmokers ft. Halsey – “Closer”
• Shawn Mendes – “Treat You Better”
• Sia ft. Sean Paul – “Cheap Thrills”
The new songs join the existing library of around 1800 songs already available for download.
Rock Band 4 is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and Rivals is set to launch on October 18.
