Battlerite might look like another MOBA cribbing from Dota 2 or League of Legends, but it's quite different. It plays more like a competitive top-down shooter where your character has a set of abilities, and matches feature multiple, short rounds instead of one drawn-out slugfest. Fellow editor Dan Tack has played the game and is quite positive on it, as you can see in our Test Chamber of the game below.

If you think that sounds up your alley, you can try the game for free this weekend, developer Stunlock Studios announced. You'll be able to play the game without having to pay from December 1 through 4.
The game will also be on sale for 25% during that time, if you play a few rounds and decide you're into it.
