One of the things that this hardware generation brought was the ability for console players to easily capture and share screens and video clips from their favorite games. Publishers can turn off the feature, to prevent people from posting cutscenes or other sensitive game elements that might spoil the experience for other players. Atlus has decided to go that route with Persona 5, though they're blocking the functionality wholesale.
According to Polygon, Atlus has decided to block sharing because of sensitivity around spoiling the story, and that it won't be reactivated once the game is on sale here on April 4.

Our Take
Taking pictures of interesting/broken/funny things in games has almost become second nature to me now, and it's a bummer that people won't be able to capture moments that they find interesting in Persona 5. It's certainly Atlus' right to block it, just as it's ours to say that it seems like a short-sighted approach to the issue, considering everyone's phone has a camera now.
