In a recent Funcom financial report, the company updated the release schedule for Conan Exiles, which is currently in Early Access on PC, saying the game should be out in the first quarter of 2018 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Before then, the game hits the Xbox One preview program in the third quarter of 2017, at which time a new biome will be added to the game's existing map, adding a different environment, new monsters, etc.
Funcom says it plans to support the game with regular patches every one to two weeks, and with updates (adding siege weapons, mounts, etc.), including four to six this year while it's in Early Access, and one around when it launches.
The company is also happy to report that the open-world survival title has done very well in its first 28 days on Early Access (where it plans to be for about 12 months), selling more than 480,000 units. "For the first time in modern Funcom history the direct project cost was covered in less than seven days and the game is now profitable and will continue to be so in the foreseeable future," read a part of the presentation.
