After a mysterious Twitter post to tease a new event, Blizzard has given Overwatch fans a better look at what to expect from The King's Row Uprising with its latest comic. Titled simply Overwatch: Uprising, the short comic depicts a pre- Soldier:76 Jack Morrison struggling to obey orders to keep Overwatch out of King's Row, a London-based war zone overrun by an Omnic extremist group called Null Sector.
While the central conflict is certainly interesting, Overwatch lore junkies have plenty to look out for. We get a brief look at Tracer training with a partially-unsuited Genji, some neat interactions between Ana, Gabriel Reyes, and Commander Morrison, and a fun nod to how Tracer came by her signature catchphrase. One interesting takeaway for a possible upcoming event is the outfits featured in the comic. Reinhardt, Torbjorn, Mercy, and Tracer are all shown wearing gear emblazoned with Overwatch colors and logos, which could be earnable skins for the upcoming King's Row event.
