Announced a couple of years ago through an official Square Enix-approved Kickstarter campaign, Fear Effect Sedna is an RTS set in the Fear Effect universe. The project is an interesting direction for the long-dormant franchise to take, but we'll finally get to see the results early next year.
Announced via the official Fear Effect Twitter account, Sedna will be hitting PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch early next year. Developed by French developer Sushee (previously responsible for point-and-click adventure game Goetia), the game will be markedly different from the Fear Effect we know, emphasizing top-down strategy and teamwork.
Square Enix also has a Fear Effect remake in the works, slated to hit this Summer.
