2D Shooter Iconoclasts Gets January 23 Release Date After Seven Years In Development

Joakim 'konjak' Sanderg, developer of Noitu Love and its sequel, has revealed that the 2D shooter/platformer Iconoclasts will release on January 23.

The game was announced in 2011, having started development a year earlier in 2010, and was anticipated by fans of Sandberg's earlier fast and frenetic earlier games. The Noitu Love series was well known for their insane movement and shooting, which Iconoclasts seems to nail with more direct control.

Check out the (partly animated!) trailer below. Iconoclasts is releasing on PlayStation 4, Vita, PC, Mac, and Linux.
