Larry Hyrb, director of programming for Xbox Live, revealed that both Mass Effect 2 and 3 are now backwards compatible on Xbox One. He took to Twitter to make the announcement:

The original Mass Effect was made backwards compatible a bit ago so this means that the whole trilogy is now playable on Xbox One.
