All Three BioShock Games Added To Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Three months to the day after the BioShock: The Collection remastered compilation launched on current-gen consoles, Xbox has announced that all three games have been added to Xbox One's backward compatibility offerings. This means that if you own any of the three entries in the acclaimed BioShock series on Xbox 360, you can now play them on your Xbox One for no additional charge.

If you own them on disc, simply insert your disc into your Xbox One's disc tray to begin installation. If you own the games digitally, they should appear in the "Ready to Install" tab on your Xbox One automatically.

If you're trying to decide between using your backward compatible Xbox 360 versions or upgrading to the remastered compilation released in September, The Collection includes BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite, remastered in 1080p and running at 60 frames per second, as well as all of the single-player DLC, including Minerva's Den. The backward compatible versions do allow you to use your DLC you already bought on Xbox 360, but they do not include the visual upgrades included in The Collection.
