Last September Blizzard first revealed its plans to phase out the Battle.net name for its cross-brand gaming platform. Today, that change went into effect.
Moving forward, the launcher is simply called "Blizzard." The change appears to be cosmetic, and minimally so. The interface for accessing Blizzard franchises like Overwatch, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Diablo, Heroes of the Storm, Starcraft, and legacy games is otherwise unchanged.
The only major change to the Battle.net layout is the Blizzard logo in the top left.
To help people ease into the slight change, the old URL still works if you're using a browser.
