PlayStation VR owners aren't exactly being overwhelmed by the number of games at their disposal, but they'll have a promising option next month. CCP Games have announced that its futuristic-sports game Sparc is coming near the end of the month.
The game pits two players against each other, using their energy shields to bat high-speed projectiles toward their opponents. Think table tennis without the table, as played by the cast of Tron, and you're on the right track. Take a look at the trailer below for a better sense of what you're up against, and see why it made our list of the most-promising VR games from E3 2017.

Sparc is coming out August 29 for $29.99, and you can preorder it now from the PlayStation Store. If you're a PlayStation Plus member, you can get a 20-percent discount for preordering, bringing the price down to about $24.
