Decap Attack, the head-tossing sidescroller you never knew you wanted, is now available for free on mobile as part of the Sega Forever Collection.
Originally released in 1991 for the Sega Genesis, Decap Attack puts players in the mummified shoes of Chuck D. Head as they fight across body part-themed levels by lobbing their skull at enemies. It's a quirky platformer that should provide some light Halloween vibes while you're on the go.
As part of the Sega Forever Collection, Decap Attack joins the likes of other Sega classics like Sonic the Hedgehog, Beyond Oasis, and Space Harrier II on Android and iOS as a free download (with ad support that can be disabled for a one-time fee of $1.99).
Our Take
For a glimpse of Sega's quirkier side, Decap Attack is worth trying out. Plus, the main character's name is Chuck D. Head. Do I really need to say more?
