The final trailer before Fallen Kingdom's release reiterates that meddling with dino DNA is still a really bad idea.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is the second film in the Jurassic World trilogy, and turns the franchise's formula on its head: Instead of running away from all the man-eating dinosaurs, the protagonists – led by returning dino trainer/Hollywood hunk Chris Pratt – are tasked with saving them from an impending volcanic eruption. As it turns out, that still involves a lot of running away from the prehistoric predators, which seem perfectly content with turning their would-be saviors into a last meal.
The new trailer opens with Chris Pratt getting a little too cozy with a (momentarily) captured T. rex, and things quickly go haywire from there. After steadily upping the ante for ridiculous action in the last few installments, Fallen Kingdom looks like it's taking a massive leap into full-on monster movie territory. Seriously, Dr. Wu, what the heck are you thinking?!
