After invited players spent a few weeks working out the kinks of Fortnite on mobile, Epic Games announced on their Twitter that the title is now live and free for everyone on Apple products.
Despite it being a port for smartphones, Fortnite mobile, which you can download here, contains the same features it does on PC and consoles. Players can even log in to their accounts and carry over their progress, characters, and rewards between platforms. Because it's beefy, users must have iOS 11 and an iPhone 6S, 7, 8, X, or SE to play it. On the tablet side, only the iPad Mini 4, Air 2, 2017 and Pro models can run the game. Be sure to look out for the mysterious comet if you give it a try.
Playerunknown's Battlegrounds launched its own mobile version not too long after the invitations to try Fortnite went out. No matter which battle royale game you play, just make sure don't play it while you're in school.
