Plenty of the developers at Playtonic (makers of Yooka-Laylee) have a background with Rare, and they're not shy about it. Their latest video for Yooka-Laylee fulfills a stretch goal set by the game's Kickstarter campaign, and it's the Yooka-Laylee Rap, an homage to the old DK Rap in Donkey Kong 64.
The cadence is similar, and I think the beat's a little better, actually, but it doesn't quite capture the magic of the original, I think. Also, the actual rapping in both of these songs was never good, even if it did get stuck in my head more than I would have liked. You can watch the video below and see if you agree.
