Bandai Namco has announced that an open beta for its latest Gundam game, Gundam Versus, will be available ahead of the game's launch.
The beta's date hasn't been announced, but considering the full game will release on September 29 of this year, it's likely the demo will hit in either early or mid-August. Either way, we shouldn't have to wait long to get some hands-on time with the first Westbound iteration of the cult favorite arcade series.

Our Take
It's good to see Bandai Namco is letting players try the game before release. Since this is the first time the Gundam Versus series will hit US shores officially, letting players get their hands on it for free and see if it's for them is a good move.
