Patapon, the 2007 rhythm/strategy game originally released on PSP, is getting a remastered version on PS4 on August 1, 2017.
In Patapon, players lead the namesake tribe through a series of battles, fighting opposing armies and huge monsters. Advancing, attacking, and defending all happens to the beat of the drum, in a unique meld of rhythm and strategy.The remaster will output in 4K and 1080p.
Sony has not announced a price yet for the title.
Our Take
I've never played any Patapon title, but the concept seems great. I'll consider trying this one out if I can get it at a good price.
