New Video Explores The Recording Process Of Cuphead's Music

Capturing the music of Cuphead's world is no small feat, as showcased in a new video released by Studio MDHR.

The video focuses on the game's first track "Floral Fury," and goes in depth into how the studio creates the game's 1930's inspired jazz tracks. Composed by Kris Maddigan, the song incorporates the talents of 44 different musicians including a 13-piece big band orchestra, a 10-man ensemble, a ragtime pianists, and several soloists.

Players can pick up the full soundtrack the same day as the game's release on September 29. Cuphead is set to release on Xbox One and PC.

Our Take
No one can say Studio MDHR isn't dedicated to making the music of Cuphead authentic. Even on its own, the track sounds spectacular with booming brass and melodic pianos, so hopefully it will add a lot to the title's gameplay come launch.
