First The Crew 2 Trailer Shows Off Multi-Vehicle Races

The original game focused on criminal organizations and extended drives across the United States. Judging by the first trailer for the sequel, it looks like Ubisoft and developer Ivory Tower is taking a slightly different approach.

In The Crew 2's stylish trailer in which the fold seemed to fold in on itself in order to showcase the diverse array of tracks you'll be racing on, we saw the increased variety the sequel looks to offer. Instead of simply racing on flat roads with cars, races involved cars, motorbikes, planes, and boats racing all at once, which adds an interesting element of choosing the best path for your vehicle of choice during a given race.

The story also looks to be different. Rather than following the exploits of a criminal organization, it focuses on a more straight-edge pro racing narrative, in which you establish yourself as the best racer in multiple disciplines. There's also a heavy element of modern social media exposure and presence. The game comes out in early 2018, with a playable beta hitting before then.
