EA and the NFL are partnering with ESPN and Disney XD for broadcasts of the Madden NFL 18 Championship Series. The arrangement covers multiple years and competitions, and will be bolstered by content in the game, including a limited-time paid bundle in Madden's Ultimate Team mode.
The broadcast plans center around the Madden Club Championship and Madden Ultimate League. The Club Championship tournament, with Madden players representing each NFL team, starts at the Pro Bowl today, and you can see quarterfinal action on ESPNews on Saturday, January 27. The Club Championship final will be broadcast live from the Super Bowl Experience on Thursday, February 1 on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes.
Meanwhile, the Madden Ultimate League (featuring 16 players) starts on Friday, February 2 and continues to the NFL Draft on April 28 where the champion is crowned at the Madden Bowl. Before then Ultimate League action can be see on Disney XD and the ESPN app. Furthermore, in April ESPN2 will show the Ultimate League Episodic Series on Tuesdays at 9PM ET, covering the series' competitors.
