Blizzard announced that it is moving Heroes of the Dorm – its collegiate eSports tournament for Heroes of the Storm – from ESPN to Facebook. As such, this year's competition will be broadcast exclusively via Facebook Live on the Heroes of the Storm eSports Facebook page.
Heroes of the Dorm gives out more than $500,000 in scholarships and prizes, and signups have already started. The group stages of the regular season start on February 15, proceeding to regional playoffs and finals in the beginning of March, the knockout rounds through that month, and the final four and national championship on April 8.
