Nintendo has delayed Animal Crossing's mobile debut out of the early part of this year and into the next fiscal year, which runs from April to March 2018.
The company said it is doing so "to accommodate the releases and operation" of Fire Emblem Heroes on mobile and Super Mario Run on Android.
No further details were given regarding a new release timeframe within the coming fiscal year.

Our Take
With those other titles on the docket it's not surprising something is getting bumped out, but my question is why all three of these were penciled in for the same time in the first place.
