Developer Human Head Announces Rune: Ragnarok For PC

Human Head, the developers behind 2006's Prey, are returning to the Rune series after a hiatus of over seventeen years with Rune: Ragnarok.

There are not many details yet, including any platforms beyond PC, but Human Head describes the game as an open-world RPG with "intense and brutal combat in a world steeped in Norse mythology." Curiously, the game is being financed by a group called ESDF Finance, which is a financial group that specifically aims to finance video games.

Human Head had previously been working on an ambitious sequel to Prey, tentatively titled Prey 2, before it was cancelled by Bethesda. The 2017 game, Prey, did not involve the studio.

Check out the teaser trailer below and sound off in the comments if you have any Rune memories.
