Following yesterday's leak, we now have confirmation that Yakuza Kiwami 2 is in fact a real thing.
Right Now it's only confirmed for Japan, but considering the series' recent sudden popular thanks to Yakuza 0, it's a pretty safe bet to assume it will be making its way to North America. The game is a remake of Yakuza 2, which did see release on PlayStation 2 in North America in 2008. You can check out the trailer below, which is in Japanese. The game will be available in Japan December 7 on PlayStation 4.
