Ubisoft's zany turn-based Mario and Rabbids mash-up is almost here, and this hour-long gameplay session will give you a good idea of what to expect.
Kyle Hilliard, Ben Reeves, Leo Vader, and I sat down to play a sizable chunk of Kingdom Battle's first world, culminating in a showdown against the game's first midboss. Along the way, we discuss the totally plausible story premise, how the game differs from other entries in the turn-based strategy genre, and offer a few pointers for taking down enemies.
Battle Kingdom has a surprising amount of depth, and while this video only features the opening area of the game, we discuss some of the abilities you'll unlock and gameplay elements you can look forward to, and take a quick peek at the skill trees of your first party members.
