ASCII Roguelike Brutal Making Its Way To PC

Brutal (stylized as Brut@l), a rogue-like built out of ASCII characters like an old-school PC game, is making its way to PC.

Originally released on console in August, we called Brutal, "a serviceable, stylish rogue-like."  It offers single and co-op play, and procedurally generated levels. It will be available on PC on February 9.

To see Brutal in action, you can check out our Test Chamber on the game below. For our review of Brutal, head here.

Our Take
Considering its whole visual premise is based on old-school PC gaming, I'm surprised Brutal didn't make its way to PC faster. In any case, I enjoyed my look at the game in the Test Chamber video above so I am glad to see it spreading its wings.
