The Top 10 Games On PlayStation 4

The PlayStation 4 got off to a slow start, but an influx of exclusives and improved remasters have been building up a respectable library for the system. In this continually updated feature, we break down the top 10 games every PlayStation 4 owner should play.

Here are Game Informer's current picks for the top 10 games on the PlayStation 4:

10. Dishonored 2
"Dishonored 2 successfully builds on the solid stealth-combat foundation of the original while introducing enough fun new gameplay concepts to feel fresh. Whether you prefer sticking to the shadows or gutting every co-conspirator in the land, the game offers a rewarding experience with attractive upgrade paths." – Matt Bertz

9. Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition
"Two years is a long time in video games, and it's rare that a release so far out from its original incarnation can generate excitement. However, Blizzard's constant improvements and adjustments have led to a stellar port to new-gen consoles, including the complete experience available on PC, plus several smart bonus features. It's an ideal way to play the game for the first time or the tenth, especially if you have any mix of friends to play with, either on your couch or across the country." – Matt Miller

8. The Last of Us Remastered Edition
"Naughty Dog has escalated its storytelling to a dramatic new chapter with the unprecedented, visceral journey of a broken man seeking redemption. The Last of Us is the defining PlayStation 3 game, and Naughty Dog has refined its visuals and packed in meaningful DLC content for the new generation." – Tim Turi

7. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
"An open world, a customizable base, a variable mission structure – these are not traditional aspects of Metal Gear, but they are what makes The Phantom Pain such an exceptional game. The gameplay, storytelling, and protagonists in Metal Gear may shift with each new installment, but Kojima’s ability to surprise and enthrall gamers remains unchanged." – Joe Juba

6. Destiny
"The philosophy of depth over time extends to the rest of the game; Destiny reveals its complexity only after many hours. Unlike in many games, hitting level cap and completing the story is more of a mid-game marker. Farming reputation, using gear to level beyond the cap, and completing progression for each of your subclasses can be a lot of fun, but it won't appeal to gamers who hate grinding. For those that enjoy the process, it's exciting to uncover higher level versions of old missions and track down little boosts and tricks..." – Matt Miller
