Capcom has reported that sales and profits are down for the nine-month period ending on December 31, 2016, but the company's overall financial forecast for the end of the fiscal year (on March 31) remains unchanged.
Sales fell 6.2 percent compared to the same period last year, with profits also falling 60.6 percent.
Despite these events, the company lauded the sales of Dead Rising 4 and Monster Hunter Generations, and that of re-releases Resident Evil 5 and RE 4.
Capcom says it is not changing its fiscal year-end forecast due to the fact that it plans "an aggressive sales campaign" for titles including RE 7 and Monster Hunter XX (an expanded edition of MH Generations in Japan).

Our Take
With Resident Evil 7 not factoring in to the period, it makes sense that the company is confident the game, among others, can pick up the slack in just three months.
