The Pokémon Company is continuing its exploration into the world of mobile gaming with a title that's a lot different from Pokémon Go.
Pokémon: Magikarp Jump follows Pokémon Duel, which released in January, and Pokémon Go, which released July of last year. In Pokémon: Magikarp Jump, players train a Magikarp to jump as high as possible. If your Magikarp gets knocked out or retires at level 20, you start with a new Magikarp, each one slightly stronger than the previous. Other Pokémon also appear in the game to help you train.

Our Take
I'm downloading the game right now with low expectations, but who knows! Maybe it will be goofy and entertaining.
