Atlus confirmed today on Twitter that Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth, the fifth in their handheld dungeon-mapping series, will be releasing in America on October 17. A European date by Deep Silver has not yet been confirmed.
Atlus still has a slate of 3DS games, including the newly announced Persona Q 2, so they are not giving up on the handheld system any time soon. There has been an announcement for the newest Shin Megami Tensei game on Switch, however.
Alongside the announcement, Atlus also released a teaser and explanation about the Fencer class in the game, which you can find below.
