James Harden Locks Down NBA Live 18 Cover

The Houston Rockets' lights out shooter James Harden is one of the most dangerous weapons on the hardcourt. Since joining the team from Oklahoma City in 2012, he has made five straight all-star games along with being named to the all-NBA first team three times. His signature beard also makes him one of the most recognizable players on the court, which probably didn't hurt when EA Sports was looking for a cover candidate for its latest basketball reboot, NBA Live 18.

NBA Live 18 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 15 (the same day people who pre-ordered NBA 2K18 and pick up their game). You can get your first taste of the game when the demo kicks off tomorrow. The demo includes the preamble to your created player's NBA career, plus your first taste of The Street element of The One mode, some live events, and the new loot crate system. If you just want to check out how the five-on-five basketball handles, you can play an exhibition game between the Warriors and Cavaliers. Any progress you make in the demo will carry over to NBA Live 18 should you decide to purchase the game. If you are going to buy the game, it pays to pre-order. Doing so drops the price from $60 to $40.

Our Take
We're curious what effect releasing the game on the same day as NHL 18 has on sales for both games.
