Sega Outlines Four Packs Of Free Yakuza Kiwami DLC

Sega's upcoming Yakuza 1 remake, Yakuza Kiwami, is coming to PlayStation 4 on August 29. This morning, Sega has unveiled the game's DLC plans. Before you start grumbling about content being withheld from the main game, you can take comfort in knowing that these four DLC drops will be arriving free of charge.

Players will be able to acquire new items, outfits, weapons, and other loot from the familiar clown, Bob Utsunomiya, who appears beneath the Tenkaichi Street gate. The first batch – Kiwami Fun Pack – will be available on September 5, a week after the game's release. Subsequent DLC drops will be downloaded and added to your game automatically each week. Yakuza Kiwami is an enhanced version of Yakuza 1, with updated visuals, new side missions and activities, and re-recorded dialogue from the original voice actors. One of the potentially strangest additions is the new Majima Everywhere system, in which Kiryu's eye-patched rival Majima surprises players by blending in with crowds and wearing costumes before jumping out to challenge Kiryu to battle.
