Madden NFL 18 is out via EA Access on Xbox One and reviews will be up soon, but we're going to wait a little bit on posting our impressions of EA Tiburon's latest until we've had more time with some of the game's online components.
Ultimate Team mode continues to be a big part of the Madden experience, and Madden 18 adds 3v3 MUT Squads – co-op versus gameplay using your MUT lineup along with those of your teammates (click here for some impressions from E3).
Apart from online play, the game introduces The Longshot story mode (which you can read my primer for here) and hardcore gameplay mechanics like Target Passing. The game doesn't have any major updates to Connected Franchise Mode, but it's added a draft board and tweaked injuries. We'll have to see how this does or does not change the experience.
