The follow-up to Game Informer's 2017 sports game of the year is headed to the Nintendo Switch around the same time it is expected to release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Today 2K Sports confirmed that the next entry in its blockbuster basketball series, NBA 2K18, is coming to the Switch in September.
We rarely learn new information about NBA 2K games until the couple months leading up to release, so don't expect details on whether or not it has feature parity with the other home consoles until we get much later into 2017. We do know, however, that it will have many of the tenets of the series, including MyCareer, MyGM, MyTeam, and even MyLeague, the customizable online franchise mode. Those are all good signs.
